50th young scientist competition
BASF takes great pleasure in fostering the scientists of the future. It’s an important part of our corporate social engagement. This year, we hosted the 50th edition!
Now in its 50th edition, the young scientist competition was hosted this year at BASF in Ludwigshafen for the third time. It brings together BASF, the Jugend forscht foundation, and tomorrow’s young talents – with the best projects being awarded at the end by Kurt Bock, BASF Chairman of the Board, and Joachim Gauck, Germany’s President and patron of Jugend forscht.
In a total of ten categories, over 38 teams of young researchers were honored for their innovations and outstanding project work.
As a supporter of the competition since its inception in 1966, we look forward to continuing to foster the scientists of the future in the many years to come – for the benefit of society, our customers, and our business.
